Abstract
The things you see are not the things you think.
Artist Statement
Photos are always used to capture moments or memories. But photography should not keep staying on this stage. With a suitable use of subject matter and light source, there is a greater potential to create stunning artworks and photographs.
Illusorisch is a German which means illusory, phantom. In this artwork, I tried to use photography as a media to create a series of photos that shock audience’s vision and recognition. It is a combination of light, shadow and unique angle. I will call these photos a “semi-illusion” photos. I hope the audiences can enjoy and indulge in the sense of confusion and unrecognised through looking at these photos.
