Abstract

A mother went tomb-sweeping with her daughter for their ancestors while they argued over trivial matters, moreover, the mother rekindled their relationship due to the evocative taste of family warmth in the boat congee.
一位媽媽與她的女兒前往掃墓的途中因鎖碎事而鬧不和。然後，她在嚐到艇仔粥的味道後憶起昔日的家庭溫暖，從而再度點燃了與女兒的親子關係。

Artist Statement

Tastes That Haven’t Changed is a memoir based on my family. My motivation for the work would be visualizing the tastes of food is evocative of family warmth, telling the importance of communication in the family relationship, and passing on the tradition to commemorate ancestors.
《味變》是一個由我家族回憶改編成的動畫，希望能透過這個動畫推廣香港粥店的地道美食、帶出味道可令人勾起回憶以及傳承拜祭祖先的傳統。
