Abstract

OCD is a two-minute 3D abstract animation with the music “New World” composed by a musician, L. Kaison, and produced by Mors. By conveying surrealistic visuals and abnormal transitions, the animation tries to emphasize a world of someone who suffers OCD, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. The animation does not the tell story of OCD in a direct way, but it conveys mood and feelings of the inner world by using abstract composition and surrealistic transitions such as an exploding brain, snail transition from a gas burner, and even a looping ending. By using these unique compositions, the animation tries to share one’s inner world to the audience.
