Abstract
Jake Wong’s curiosity for generative art led him to experiment what it might mean in creative writing. In response, he wrote the story of a single place and its surroundings in multiple generative iterations, speaking in the first person of the window, the door, the cobble and the knife. Subjective each episodes may mean, together they tell the intense experience of an unusual evening, comprehensible only through the “sensations” of the objects. To Jake, what he offers is a framework — an initial state of a writing game that could be endless, with infinite iterations. Try as you like: the bed? the slippers? the backpack? etc. Welcome to join.
