Abstract

No matter what our attitude is when we first face the new situation, we all have to adapt and accept its existence suddenly, and eventually it may become ordinary for us.
新事物會悄無聲息地闖入我們的日常，無論我們是否願意，最終它還是成為了我們生活的一部分。

Description

No matter what our attitude is when we first face the new situation, we all have to adapt and accept its existence suddenly, and eventually it may become ordinary for us.
This is a series of documentary photographs records how the different organizations and citizens in Hong Kong face the changes caused by COVID-19 in the first half of 2020 and the scene of Hong Kong during this special period. In today’s world, any changes may have a huge impact on a place or a group of people, and such a “new normal” may finally become “normal” with people.

Artist Statement

Yi Hao was born in Shanxi in 1993. He majored in Photography during the undergraduate and is working towards an MFA in Creative Media at the City University of Hong Kong. He would like to talk about socail issues by resentative icons or the relationship between people and city throurgh the project.
義昊1993年出生於山西，本科主修圖片攝影，現就讀於香港城市大學創意媒體藝術碩士。他的作品主要在探索如何通過一些有代表性的事物去反應社會現象，城市與人的關係等。
