Abstract
Under the background of global infection with new coronavirus, explore the connection between humans and plants, the cycle between life and death.
在新冠狀病毒全球感染的背景下，探索人與植物之間的聯繫和生與死之間的循環。
Description
Recently Coronavirus incident inspires me. Under the impact of the virus, the patient’s virus-infected lungs will begin to become white fibrosis, and human characteristics will begin to transform into plant characteristics. I want to explore the connection between humans and plants, the cycle between life and death. The focus of my observation was on bodies with mutations and to explore the infinite possibilities of life to find a balance between reality and imagination.
最近發生的冠狀病毒事件啟發了我。 在病毒的影響下，患者被病毒感染的肺部將開始變成白色纖維化，人類特徵將開始轉變為植物特徵。我想探討人與植物之間的聯繫，生與死之間的循環。 我的觀察重點是具有變異的身體，並探索生命的無限可能性以在現實與想像之間找到平衡。
Artist Statement
FENG Jiawen (b. 1996, Sichuan) has a bachelor degree in Animation, and is working towards an MFA in Creative Media at the City University of Hong Kong.
